Hi Cosmic-

I can totally relate to what you're going through as I'm sure alot of us can because we're exposed to the "C" word on a daily basis. Last year I had a similar situation happen to me. I found 2 lumps in my testicles. Along with the lumps I had abdominal pain, back pain, fatigue, and loss of appetite and I had alot of symptoms of testicular c (I'm not typing that word because I hate it as much as everyone else). After going to my PCP he ordered an ultrasound and an x-ray of my back, but I had to wait 2 weeks. Well after I heard he wanted to do the testing I finally had a total breakdown and panic attack, so I went right to the hospital where I told them about all of my symptoms and they immediately did the ultrasound, x-ray, blood work, and a urinalysis. And you guessed it. Nothing more than fatty cysts and the rest of the symptoms were caused by anxiety and stress related to the entire situation.

Now here's the catch. I'm not saying that you shouldn't have a medical check up and be medically cleared but a biopsy is a major procedure. Maybe you should request from your doctor that they do an ultrasound or x-rays or even an MRI before going straight to a biopsy. Once you've been medically cleared, the only thing left causing the symptoms could be stress and anxiety.

Stress, anxiety, worry, etc can all mimic the signs of some type of serious illness. Lets look at the symptoms: pain, fatigue, loss of appetite, weight loss, nausea, headaches, muscle aches, body aches, etc. Sounds pretty serious doesn't it? When I thought I had testicular c I had all of those symptoms and all of them were caused by anxiety and stress and nothing more. And lymph nodes can swell, that's actually what they're designed to do, but playing with them (as I found out years ago) can actually also make them swell. I had 2 swollen lymph nodes o the back of my neck and the more I played with them the more they swelled.

See if you can get your doc to order an MRI instead of an invasive procedure like a biopsy and let us know what happens!
