[COLOR=DarkSlateBlue]I've heard this, but it's not been my experience...but my exp. is with Zoloft, not Paxil. I don't know. I've heard stopping and starting can make a med ineffective for a person, but at the same time, I've also heard (and am doing) that women can take a/ds just a week each month to manage bad PMS. Works for me, and at a lower dose than when I took it for depression.

Meds are so individual in response, to each person, and maybe to the same person's different situations...I don't know. Xanax or Klonopin or similar a similar med, for the short term, can help manage initial side effects, as a pp mentioned.
