Zoloft question
Feb 6, 2005
Ok, to those of you who know me, I am now on zoloft 100mg and have been now for 11 days. I can't stop clenching my teeth and I have read that is a side effect from some anti-depressants. Will this go away? Also, I just really wonder if ads help anxiety. I know I have a history of not giving them long enough, but someone on the board said they can cause an excitatory response after awhile. My mood swings seem to be under control, but the lingering anxious feeling won't go away. I take the alprazolam only when needed and it really does help, but I know my dr. doesn't want me on it forever. It seems to me the consensus is that the benzos work best for anxiety/panic, so do the ads really help? Also, don't some have a more calming effect, such as lexapro? The zoloft does not have a calming effect for me, at all. It doesn't hype me up like the wellbutrin did, but I am not tired with the zoloft...just really jittery.
