JJCHEEK, right now I'm attempting self-hypnosis to see if I can target my specific anxiety and panic symptoms to see if I can at least lessen them. If that doesn't work as well as it should, I'm going to try Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or maybe seeing if my doctor will want to try thyroid medications on me. Many people report feeling better by taking thyroid medications even if the blood tests look normal...who knows.

As far as there being vitamin/mineral deficiencies with CFS, the most commonly used products that I have seen being used are a complete Vitamin/Mineral supplement, Vitamin B complex, B12 shots, Magnesium, Zinc, Vitamin C, Acetyl L-Carnitine, Fish Oils, Antioxidant Formulas, Grape Seed Extract, Whey Protein, Calcium with Vitamin D, CoQ10, NADH, and Beta Carotene. That's quite a list but if you research long enough, you will notice that almost everyone has tried at least some of these in different combinations but what might work for some may not work for you and vice-versa. Read as much as you can on these boards and search all around them to see what people are using specifically. You need to see what you can tolerate though...I myself can't tolerate much so I'm really careful about trying things in really low doses first.

The first and most important thing though is making sure you are getting a good 8 to 9 hours of refreshing sleep. Most if not all CFS patients complain that they can't sleep or don't feel refreshed after sleep. If you aren't sleeping well, thats should be the first thing you take care of. Sleep is really important in recovering from an illness like this. If you need something to help you sleep better, try simple things like Benadryl first and see how it works. If that doesn't help, you can try Kava Kava or Valerian Root. If you want to try prescription sleeping pills, many people use Ambien, Sonata, or Klonopin. Ask your doc about these. I hope this helps you some.
