The other thread was getting a bit to long so I locked it, please continue your discussion here.
Thanks, ms_mod
Ok everyone - Bell, Adam, Jeffrysmom, Campingirl - here we are part two on this thread as well.
I guess that thread got too long. I haven't heard from Adam either. Hopefully he will check in with us soon! As I was saying in the other one - are you a stay at home mom?
Aren't these boards the best!!! I am on the Menopause thread a lot and there are some great ladies with so much helpful info. I swear when I started the Peri phase I thought I was going insane until I found that thread.
I like the Beauty Thread too!
I haven't seen Adam around either, hope all is well with him and the Zoloft and all.
Speaking of flipping out! I found out my dog has a tick born parasite in his blood stream. Normally I would have really lost it. I was able to take it in stride and stay calm :)
To tell you the truth, I think I had so much other stuff on my plate to worry about, I honestly didn't think much about my Peri symptoms. Alot of the things, I didn't even associate with peri until I read lots of these threads! I have never been one to obsess about my health, so I guess that helped too :) I obsess about my hair, my face, body - those things, so that keeps me busy, lol. I am a perfectionist when it comes to myself - and I know that I am my own worst critic, but I can't help it! I guess I need to read the beauty thread!

Is your dog going to be ok? I hope so! I would die if anything happened to mine, she is my baby. :)

{Yes, one member did violate the posting rules and post off board contact information in their signature. It appears it was seen before it was removed by me. But please just becaue you know how to contact someone else becasue they violated the rules, do not post about that fact. Thanks, ms_mod}
Yes he is on a antibiotic for 3 weeks! I have 3 dogs, dogs are my life Love them!! Too bad there isn't a dog thread LOL

I OCD on all those things too but also health stuff as well.
It has got so much better on the Lexapro. Did you know they prescribe it for OCD too!

I am glad your dog is going to be ok! What kind do you have? Mine is a Yorkie and the sweetest little thing you ever saw. She loves her mama too :) {REMOVED} I did not know they prescribed Lex for OCD too. That's good, cuz I sure need it! lol

PS - On the menopause thread I was telling you about - there are quite a few of us dog lovers on there :)
Hey guys, sorry to bust in on this thread, but I was just wondering about the Ginko Biloba for sex drive...someone on another thread said it interefered with the birth control pill. Do you know this to be true? My dr didn't say anything about it and I was not able to find anything about it. I don't want to have an accident and get prego right now!
hey mjewell - like Bell said - bust in anytime. Almost everyone has deserted us on this thread! I wouldn't think it would interfere with birth control pills, there isn't anything in it that should. But - I will do some research on that (yeah, I just love doing that, my hobby), if Bell's doctor doesn't know.

I am surprised your testosterone shot hasn't kicked in by now. My doctor told me that if nothing else worked, they could give me a prescription for a compounded testosterone cream to use. I don't need it now that I started on the Ginkgo. I have forgotten, but is the Effexor the only thing you are on?
Hi Guys,

My name is Zak and I saw the thread on Lexapro. Today marks the 2nd week I have been on Lexapro, this last week was upped to 10 mg dosage. I am also feeling a lot better, I have more energy during the day and am waking up with more energy also. I just have to get through some quick bouts with anxiety that soon wear off. It is nice - I don't feel so bogged down anymore as if I have to do it all myself. I think there is a potential of this really working for me, especially as I get ready to go back to school.
Bell,

Where have you been? I replied to you on the Menopause thread but haven't seen you since then. I wanted to say hello and see how you were doing now? I saw on one thread where you had gone up to 15 mg of the Lexapro and was wondering if that was working better for you? I'm still on 10, and hope to not ever have to go up any higher! I have been driving like crazy, not nervous one bit and wondered how you were making it with that yourself.

Hope you are having a great summer with your kids!

Jackie :)
