My blood pressure is just fine at home but the minute i walk into a doctor's office i can feel my heart start to beat faster and i know by the time the nurse takes my blood pressure it will be sky high--mine at home stays around 118/ 65 at doctor's office it can be 160/85--i always tell them at the doctor's that i have white coat syndrome, but i have noticed that it is getting higher at the doctors. It use to be 140/78, now when i am nervous it will shoot up to 160--so i don't know when the doctor will think it is too high even for white coat syndrome and put me on medicine..
I don't mind it going higher at my doc's office. It's when I'm the cause of it, even at home, that I really get mad. I shouldn't be worrying myself into such a problem.

I started out, this morning, with a BP reading of 123/83. That's not too bad! Then, got myself worked up and got it up to 170/95. That's my last reading. I'm too worried to take it again as I think I'll do the same. And, to top things off, I keep on wondering if my BP is still that high! I'm worrying myself unnecessarily!
