I"m reading how people on Lexapro are saying they feel awesome and plan on never getting off of it unless it stops working. Is it safe to stay on this stuff for years and years?? Say a person is on it for 19 years then needs to get off of it because it's no longer effective. Could this cause damage to a person? Wouldn't the withdrawal be a ridiculous hell for being on this long? Could your body function without it after being on for this long?

I'm curious about long term use of drugs like this, especially if they they do get off of them at some point and what the reaction would be.

After my depakote experience, I'm very skeptical about taking any drugs long term (more than a year).
