:blob_fire Well i used to post here but i stopped for a while, now i want to tell you what i did about my anxiety...

I used to have BIG anxiety attacks EVERYYWHERE, in the metro, university, home..anywhere where there would be people...so i went to my doctor and told him that i had anxiety and he gave me Lexatin ( im in EUROPE i guess its the same as Lexapro..) and i took them every once in a while but i didnt want to get addicted so i started figurering out ways to control my anxiety...

1. First of all, no matter where you are, remember that you can always [U]GET OUT OF THERE[/U], wether your in class, a restaurant, hairsalon...you can get out, so dont have the feeling of being trapped because your free to go wherever you want...

2. I [U]always carry money[/U] in my purse enough to get a taxi anywhere i am if im having an attack and come back home safely and relaxed nowing im going home ( for me its the best place to be)

3. I call my mom whenever i get nervous wherever i am and she tells me to be strong and that i can get trhough it, so [U]have someone always the first on your phone agenda to call in case it happens[/U]...

4. Sometimes, when i have an attack in the middle of someplace crowded like a club, the street etc..i find a place where i can be alone ( bathroom, bench) and [U]just cry[/U], and i cry and cry and people look at me and if they ask i just say that i had a fight with my BF and i feel better, its good to cry during your attacks, it lets out a lot of adrenaline...

5. I ALWAYS HAVE IN MIND that there is a cure,, no matter how crazy i go or depressed or sad, i can always call up the doc make an app tell him my story and medication DOES help and theres a cure for it...dont lose hope.

GOod luck to all of you, with these 5 things ive gotten much better, sometimes in extreme situations like when im on a trip FAR from home its hard to remember them but i know that in a few days, ill be back home feeling better....
