I have been having troubles with panic and GAD and OCD for years (took paxil for 7 years but weight gain was aweful). I have been on wellbutrin for about a year (I stopped briefly when I became pregnant, but started again a month ago). I'm having a horrible time with wellbutrin this time around, jittery and super anxious. I am 12 weeks pregnant. I saw the doc today, and she prescribed celexa (due to it being sedating, so I'd be able to get some sleep at night), but my insurance won't cover it. While standing in the pharmacy, with the pharmacist and the doc on the phone, I basically had to pick out of the blue, what antidep I wanted. I know 2 people who are on zoloft and are pregant, so I picked zoloft (although I know there are risks). Once the prescription was filled the pharmacist informs me I MUST take this in the morning, as it is extremely stimulating, and I'll never be able to sleep if I take it at night (I wanted to take it at night so I can sleep through the side effects). She also says that I have to have a really full stomach when I take it, otherwise I will become very nauseous. Trouble is, I am just now slowly recovering from morning sickness which lasted 24/7 for more than 2 months, during which time I lost 20 pounds. I am still having trouble eating anything as it is. So I don't know what to do. Should I take it at night and see what happens? How much food should I be eat before taking one? SHould I go back to the doc and ask her to find me something else? I am at the point where I feel as though I am having a nervous breakdown and I need something to start working soon (I realize that all antideps take a few weeks to take effect, so I want to start something ASAP).
Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated!
