I've been dealing with anxiety for several months now and have been on Lexapro for over a month now. I'm not quite sure exactly how long I've been experiencing shakiness... I'm pretty sure it started before the medication though. I never really paid much attention to it, it's not like I'm convulsing or anything. But tonight, I went to the usual gas station I go to... and as I'm handing the guy my money, he says "You know if you'd quit smoking you wouldn't be so shaky"... I was taken aback and said "What?" And he goes "You're shaking"... and from then on I've been feeling self-conscious about it. I didn't really think it was that noticeable, and I really don't think I do it all the time... mostly when I'm nervous. But of course I start to think "Does everyone notice this? I wonder how many people have thought it was weird" and then I start feeling like I never want to go to a cash register again. Also, I notice that often when I bend over to pick something up, my legs shake. Is there anything I can do to subside the shaking, or does that just come with getting rid of the anxiety? Thanks.
