Not too sure about the Zoloft question. I'm on Clonazepam for general anxiety disorder. My doctor said take one (.5 mg) tablet twice a day - usually at the same time of day - so, for me - it's first thing in the morning (with Lexapro and the beta blocker Toprol XL (100 mg). I take the second dose at night, right before bed (10:30 - 11 p.m.)

If your doctor is giving you permission to take more than two doses (e.g. in case you need it if you're getting an onset of anxiety) - have you thought of breaking it in half?

The first week - when I took it - it felt like I was taking cough medicine that would make you drowsy. That was about the extent, it didn't wipe me out, but I was definitely tired. But now it's no big deal. I've been on Clonazepam a month.
I took klonopin at night with my Lexapro. I was able to get a better night sleep. During the day if I needed it i cut the .5mg in half and i was fine.
