Hi VRL - it's very strange about the morning anxiety. It appears that many people suffer from terrible morning anxiety and not sure why - they do like us and take a xanax or buspar and try to get through the mornings. I can't even think about food in the morning - I used to love breakfast but since all this started, that's out of the question. You sound like me though - the minute I open my eyes I can feel it, shaky, weak, feeling sick to my stomach, it's all very strange. It's all I can do to get ready for work and not feel like I'm going to pass out. I rarely wake up with the racing heart feeling, mine is more of a feeling of passing out and just very anxious like something is wrong. As I have stated before, eating or drinking OJ doesn't seem to help either - so I know it's not a low blood surgar thing - what helps is either a xanax and time - late late afternoons and evenings I tend to feel a little better. Do you take anthing other than Buspar? I have been on Lexapro for over 6 weeks - it wasn't helping at all and the doc just upped the dose to 10 so we'll see if that helps -I'm hoping it doesn't increase my anxiety. I also am hypothyroid but that is under control. Good luck with your ultrasound! Hang in there.
