Hello to you all. I don't think I have ever posted on the anxiety board, but from the way I feel, I should be the president of the board.

Apparently, I have OCD worse than I had ever thought. Not just the counting and mild arranging. I had no idea these bad (sometimes horrible) thoughts could be OCD. Anyway, an errant thought last week must have triggered my nerves and anxiety.

This morning, my Dr prescribed Celexa, 20 mg. And is setting an appt for therapy. I have read Celexa is good for OCD, and the Dr said it is somewhat like Lexapro, which practically saved my life a couple of yrs ago.

Are the side effects bad? When I first started Lexapro, I felt sleepy all the time, the usual stuff, but after I got used to it, it was wonderful. I also have severe anxiety on taking any kind of medication.

Thanks for reading. It feels better reading these posts and seeing that I am not alone, when I feel so isolated in my mind that it is literally driving me crazy.
