I tend to have most of my panic attacks/anxiety late at night especially if I'm over tired. So I try to read a book which usually helps me to stop thinking about whatever is making me anxious. Sometimes I will drink a glass of wine before bed and that helps me to relax (I am not on any medications currently so don't have to worry about interactions with meds.) When I am really anxious I have several good girlfriends I can call up and they help me to rationalize my fears. I have been on meds in the past when it was really bad and that helped as well.
