I'm told that you can't take weight loss products if you take anti-depressants. I take 2.5 mg lexapro daily for GAD. This tiny dose is effective most of the time, and that's what I started out on. I've upped it to 5 mg in the past for several months at a time, but I think I get by ok with less, it just takes more mind control. I've been told that 2.5 mg is really just a holistic dose, which makes me wonder if I really can take a weight loss product. I don't want to do something that could be dangerous or would counter act the lexapro. Holistic dose or not, it works for me.

I eat very healthy and not in excess. I'm just in my mid 40's and things have slowed down. I hate this accumulation of fat around the middle.

I just really want to lose 10 lbs and need help.

Does anyone know of an effective weight loss product that can be taken with anti-depressants, specifically lexapro?

Thanks for any responses.
