I hear ya. I've had anxiety for years and the only thing that has given me relief is medication [Zoloft]. Most of the modern antidepressants work very well and have a lot fewer side effects than the older drugs. Zoloft worked wonders for me but I had to take it a long time to get the full benefit from it. Before I went on the Zoloft I felt much like you ALL THE TIME - extreme debilitating fatigue, racing heart, stomach in knots, excessive sweating, couldn't concentrate, numbness in feet, couldn't sleep or slept way too much, nervous, jittery, muscle aches, tension, "weird" thoughts and feelings of unreality. I could go on and on. It was horrible. I agree educating yourself about the disease is important but I feel the best route to go is medication and a good doctor you can talk to.

Good luck.
