In 2007 I was given Lexapro for situational depression. The dosage was 10mg and I had no issues taking it. I took it for a few months and then was able to stop.

Recently I've developed a health issue that gives me a lot of anxiety and my new doctor put me on Lexapro, 20mg this time. The new dosage made me so sick that I was throwing up blood, so I stopped taking it.

Eventually I decided to try 10mg to see if that made me sick. Fortunately it did not, but now I can't sleep through the night! I'll go to bed around 10 pm and wake up at 2, 3, or 4 am. Has anyone else had this problem with Lexapro? I usually take it in the evening after dinner. Would it help if I took it in the morning? Will I eventually adjust and be able to get some sleep?
