Anxiety and health
Jun 8, 2013
I feel anxious about my health all the time. I'm a 29 year old male who, a year and a half ago, had a viral infection that caused my windpipe to swell half shut. Since then I've always felt vaguely ill. I jog and am not overweight. I've gotten more and more depressed and anxious over the past year, letting things I normally manage well become almost unbearable. I've spent too much money over the past year on various tests only to get negative results. I took lexapro last year, but it interacted with my infection and caused me to have a horrible dry throat. The lexapro did help with some residual anxiety, though, and I feel permanently changed in a small way, but I still feel "sick".

How do I differentiate between a health condition and the effects of "anxiety"? I want to know what my options are. I feel confused. :dizzy:
