... Although it isn't the norm, it is not impossible to have such a reaction or dependancy to Ativan in this short time. It can occur after only a few weeks and yes at that dosage. 1 mg. Ativan is equivalent to around 10 mgs. Valium which is a decent dose for sure! ... (1 replies)

... Himmy, my suggestion to you would be to just go on the Zoloft, and take the klonopin as needed in the beginning to help you through any side effects you might have. ... Meds are defenitly not for everyone. I was diagnosed with anxiety disorder when I was younger. The doctor prescribed Paxil for me. I HATED it. I refuse to take any anti-anxiety medecine. It made me feel horrible. I would suggest therapy of some sort. I haven't tried it yet. I am not sure what effects of meds are in the long term. As for a night of drinking, I think... (6 replies)
