... Give youself some time. I was on it for many months and it took about 2 months to kick in. I had to take this med around 2pm. - that is the time of day that I am so tired and just gave me kick until bedtime. I was on it for anxiety and hormonal issues. ... I really like Celexa. It worked great for me. I had no side effects. If it is cheaper then why not just give it a try. I was on the generic form of Celexa (Citalopram). It worked just fine. ... Yeah, I did some research on this when I got started on Zoloft. I drink wine every night with dinner and have not noticed any bad effects, other than the alcohol hits me harder than usual (it's a well known fact anti depressants will amplify the effect of the alcohol).
