... Hey there! Klonopin "should" work pretty shortly after you take it. You are right though about the depressing side-effect of Klonopin. It is the only benzo that has actually been shown to decrease the release of serotonin, so it very well could be causing some depression issues (or could cause cause more depression than the others). ... depends on the type of anxiety you have. if you are more of a panic sufferer, valium wouldn't be a good choice. its better for generalized anxiety, not really as helpful for panic attacks. xanax is a good choice for anxiety sufferers and panic attacks. ativan is similar to xanax, just weaker... .5mg of xanax=1mg of ativan. klonopin is better for racing thoughts......
