... I believe the daily dosage is too low for the Xanax. I would try pushing it up to atleast .5mg twice a day and see if it makes any difference. Xanax needs to be taken throughout the day at regular intervals to help build the medication up in your bloodstream. ... (16 replies)

... Hi patty818, Benzodiazepines (Xanax, Klonopin, Valium) can be addictive. However, not everyone becomes addicted. I was on a Benzo for 10 years and did not become addicted. Of course your PCP scared you and really unnecessarily. You are taking such a small amount I believe your fear of seizures and addiction is unfounded at this time. (1 replies)

... mgs ativan using valium. my experience with these drugs has been that if you would like to continue taking them than the short acting ones like xanax and ativan are the worst as the interdose withdrawal symptoms can be very uncomfortable and they tend to quit working pretty fast and you will need to updose. ...
