I'm not going to say you should get off the xanax only because although I have a medication phobia I do believe you have to do what you have to do to get through and live a semi-normal life. ... :wave: Hi. I use Zoloft 25 mg. It controls anxiety and social phobia. I also take Xanax. It acts faster and stays in the system four to six hours. Zoloft is 24 hour release like Paxil or Prozac. Regarding your question about medication, if you have become immune to your current medication I would definately advise you to talk to whomever prescribes your medication for a change, however I could not possibly advise you as to which medication to take as everyone reacts differently to different drugs. ...
