... s stressed you are, the less anxiety and nerves you will have. When I have anxiety, my hands also shake uncontrollably sometimes. And I actually chew a lot on my lips when I'm feeling anxious. Don't freak yourself out over any of this because that doesn't help. Anxiety can cause a lot of strange things to happen to your body. ... (3 replies)

... Hi, I have a numb feeling & tingling in parts of my face & my toes. I was put through a battery of neuro/blood tests.....all found nothing. Diagnosis.....could be either perimenopause (I'm 51, estrogen dominant) or anxiety....most likely...both. I don't hyperventilate, so not sure what exactly causes this.
