... am surprised the buspar actually helped it seldom dose, cant see why it should stop after a year, maybe try it at a higher dose again agoraphobia and psnic attacks are often inherited, my grandmother had it, so did I and now a nephew has it, plus I suspect other family members who wont admit to it the psychologist may help if he knows much about helping those with anxiety... ... Well having two kids by challenge is I can't take meds that make me tired or unable to drive etc... I tried Zoloft and it made me full of rage and anger it was awful.... ... to bell buspar is a tranquilliser that, IMO isnt nearly as good as valium or similar, also the makers of buspar admit its useless for panic attacks, whereas valium is very helpful buspar is expensive and highly advertised to docs for anxiety but generally never actually helps much, but sadly, most docs pay far more attention to drug company sales reps than to their... ... I can TOTALLY identify with you about feeling bad that your family can't do things because of your anxiety. That is probably what triggers anxiety in me the most. I don't have kids yet, but I totally feel like I hold my husband back because I am pretty much a homebody, too scared to go do things, too scared to go out with friends without my own car, too scared to go on trips,... Hey don't worry I suffered with panic attacks for 18 months, although touch wood haven't had a full blow one from a while, my boyfriend has had to put up with me crying the night before his exam, taking me home from clubs crying, crying in the middle of the night etc....it's scary because you don't know what is happening to you...I'm sorry the medication doesn't seem to be...
