... that dose is quite high to start with, try taking a smaller dose and building it up over time. Xanax is usualy taken three times a day, every 4 hours is an unusual dosing schedual, maybe tell your doctor that it is knocking you round, and see what he suggests (3 replies)

... All of those conditions can happen to anyone who abuses most any medicaiton. You are not abusing anything and in fact are only taking the equivilant of 0.5mg of xanax in 24 hours which is very low dosage. This amount is no stronger then a mild tranquilizer.
