... I too have recently developed chronic dizziness symptoms. I'm not taking any anti-anxiety meds, but I'm going through some major life changes (retirement, relocating), and from what I've read, severe stress can cause dizziness in some people. It is also not uncommon to get chronic dizziness as one ages. Mine is the same feeling I get after a couple of glasses of wine... (7 replies)

... I said "situational," not "sensational." This means that the symptoms crop up in certain places or scenarios, so there is a trigger if you will. This can get the anxiety ball rolling... P.S. The dizziness would be related to hyperactivity of the CNS, as that is where the physical part all starts. Some people actually subconsciously hold their breath, thus the phrase,... (9 replies)
