... There may also be an undelying condition that will not show up on Xrays. Maybe a change of meds is all you need. Trying to cut back on meds is also not helping arthritis at all. I am also almost certain that the daily headaches are a result from the tylenol and it is just a vicious cycle. That, or my horrible teeth grinding. ... The symptoms you describe could be from RA, but this is a rather sudden presentation of it. Hopefully her Dr included tests related to RA in the bloodwork. If he didn't, he may be able to add those on to the blood the lab already has. In the meantime, some antiinflammatory medication like Naproxen (OTC) might help with the headache, fever and joint pains and swelling. I hope... (3 replies)
