... Some people take Zyflamend. It contains ginger, turmeric, etc. I tried if for awhile, but it stopped working. My left hand, wrist and fingers are causing so much pain and I'm left handed. I've just been icing my hand and wrist and taking Advil. It makes the pain more bearable. I took a pain pill earlier in the day and it didn't have any affect at all. :( (6 replies)
... Biofreeze is a wonderful analgesic rub; I donít know if it contains menthol. Have you tried wearing arthritis gloves? Isotoner stretchy fabric gloves would work as well. How about a soak in very warm water with Epsom salts and an essential oil? I use oil of Rosemary. I take Zyflamend, by New Chapter, for inflammation. Hope this helps. (17 replies)

... Everybody's different so who knows? Take it slow, ease into it and see how you do, you might surprise yourself. An Orthopedist or physical therapist may be able to give you a more detailed "forecast" of how the joint will respond to running again. If you can't run marathons anymore you might want to take up spinning or swimming, both excellent low impact exercises.... (1 replies)

... Hello scaredest! Well can u please tell me what foods the doc put u on? And what foods did they ask u to avoid? What is the evening promise oil tablets? And what quantities of calcium and Vit E? Is there any medical evidence on this? I thought that overdoing vitamins was not harmful as the body would automatically excrete excess amounts. How much vitamin C is recommended?... (9 replies)
