Hello everybody!

This summer has been fantastic! I've basically had an asthma-free summer. Haven't even needed to take a preventer!

Over a year ago (last August) I was very ill with pneumonia. After beating this I was ill literally for 6 months with repeated bronchitis, chest infections, etc. My asthma was extremely difficult to deal with.

The weather is just starting to turn now. This morning I woke up with a slight sore throat and what I can only describe as a "rattle" deep in my chest. I've also been very wheezy these last few days.

I'm a very fit person and I take care of myself (don't smoke, drink, etc.) I can't stand the thought of another winter like last years! Has asthma weakened my lungs to the point that I'm going to catch every single chest infection that's out there?? Anybody else have this problem?

At the moment I'm trying to just be positive but the fact that I've already caught a cold has me a bit un-nerved.

Any thought/opinions are most welcome. Take care everybody!
