Yeah, its just that I've been off all meds other than Ventolin now for 2 years but I feel I am taking the Ventolin too much. Sometimes I get a bit tight even when climbing a stairs. I know I don't have any allergies to pollen or anything like that but I was thinking of starting low-dose inhaled steroids again (in fact I've got an appointment tommorow). All I know is that when I was on them I had a peak flow of over 800 and now I'm down to 460.

Might not be a bad idea to take like Advair 100/50. The two medicines combined make for a much better maintenance medicine than the steroids alone. Asthma flare ups can often come so slowly so gradually..it starts with a little tightness then progresses to a full out deadly attack taking months...believe me it's safer to be on a little extra medication than none at all. I'd rather have that little extra protection, even if I was doing OK. EIA is usually the first sign that asthma is out of control. Hope everything works out!
