Interesting thing I learned about asthma

Just wanted to tell you all about my experience in case it helps someone else here. Okay, so about a month and a half ago I started having symptoms of what looked like a bad cold. It slowly progressed until I was coughing to the point of gagging. I started having a lot of trouble breathing and was feeling light-headed. I explained to the doctor that I had childhood asthma when I was in early grade-school from lung damage caused by a severe case of pnuemonia. She told me that it could be that I have asthma now. I was quite surprised at this as it seemed it had all gone away, but is now showing it's ugly head again. Anyway, I wasn't aware that childhood asthma continued into adulthood, but now I learned that it indeed does. Now I just have to see what I need to do in my future to prevent more events like this! ;)
