Has anyone ever heard any pros or cons regarding putting some normal saline into a neubilizer and giving yourself a breathing treatment with it? I've never been put on anything like albuteral, cromolyn, intal, brethine, etc. but my asthma seems to get worse now when I have a cold and I need something to help with my wheezing, tightness, and dry cough. My steriods and antibiotic aren't helping like it usually does so I thought I'd try the normal saline. Someone had told me about this years ago but I never heard any more about it.
Thanks for any input you may have on this.
