Anyone taking Symbicort, Spiriva and Singulair + anti-histamine?

My doc had me on Prednisone because I had a bad Asthma patch, but it's calming down now. She wants me off the Prednisone and wants to replace it with other drugs if possible.

I know that Spiriva is for COPD mainly, but it works the same way by preventing smooth muscle spasms in your lungs...

Has anyone with Asthma been on Spiriva? Has it helped?

I don't want to start it, because I don't want to become dependent on it, the way I have become dependent on my Symbicort...
Kenanali: You need to understand something. There is no cure for asthma. You are always, always going to be dependent on some form of medication. So please, if you are thinking that you will eventually wean off everything, you are mistaken. I would add in the spiriva and see what happens. If ti helps, then great. If not, drop it. I know you are very nervous about all this but you will get it all sorted out and all will be fine. Just hang in.
