Xolair, maybe

... My last visit with my allergist/asthma guy ended with a Xolair chat. We're going to talk about it more at next visit. I'm allergic to almost all indoor and ourdoor allergens. ... Yes, especially if you have GERD, inhaled steroids aggravate this, trust me i know from personal experience, since I have been off advair for bronchitis, the GERD has gotten better.. I was having bad chest pressure and sometimes hard to take a deep breath. thats all gone now....maybe you should try spiriva, im on that and it does not affect my keeps the airways open... ... Have had no side effects from it. Other users mention a dry mouth but not to the extent that they'd quit taking it. It has really become the drug of choice for those with breathing problems and the once a day use is certainly a bonus. It is a pricey drug and in my case I'm in the dreaded doughnut hole of the Plan D in Medicare but I consider it well worth the cost. I am... (8 replies)
