... MountainReader, Do ask your pulmonologist about a nebulizer. For me, they work so much better than an inhaler when things are bad. Inhalers have worked for me, but nebulizers seem to work faster. I think that I have been saved a trip to the ER on two occasions because I activated my action plan which called for use of the nebulizer. I am considering getting a portable one.... (21 replies)

... when it's really cold it can also be bad. when i was skiing i had a sort-of asthma attack on the hill because we had to carry our skis down the hill (LONG LONG story, lol) but i got to ride down on the snowmobile. my point is that weather "extremes" can make it worse too (4 replies)
