Hi all,
I've been battling a right L5 sciatica for about 7 months now. My MRI shows mild/mod bilateral foraminal narrowing due to broad based disc bulges at L4/L5, L5/S1. When this thing first started it was a very distinct right sided leg pain (butt to hip, to calf, into my big toe). I also had just general burning/tingling in both legs. Both leg tingling/burning went away after a 2-3 weeks of when this first started and i was left with right sided leg pain only. I have been rehabbing it with PT and I did do a steroid injection in the beginning of July. The injection didn't seem to help a lot. But overall its slowly improving and I was hopeful for full recovery in the next few months. Now yesterday as I was driving home from work I started feeling left general ankle pain and tingling in a small spot in my right calf. I got worried and took ibuprofen when i got home. Today I still have that tingling in left leg. I have felt some small occasional symptoms in my left leg but not much and it really hasn't bothered me in a long time. Now its day 2 of this... I'm so worried and concerned. I will discuss with my doctor but wondering if maybe i shouldn't assume this means things are getting worse or that it is now spreading to more of my left leg. Just as my right leg was getting better....

There was no injury nothing happened. I just dont get it!
Any advice would be helpful.
