Sorry to hear that you're not sleeping. I'm going through that myself and with a job, you're right, it's just a total nightmare! I've been using over the counter sleeping pills, which I know it's great over an extended period of time, but at this point I'm out of ideas! Have you tried those or like some of the others suggested, ask your dr for an RX for something that will make you sleep? Also, you could try Melatoin. (probably spelled that right) It's a herb that is suppose to make you sleep. I think the trick with that is taking it at the same time every night, so your body develops a pattern of sleep.

Do you have a recliner you could sleep in? I know a lot of people on here use those. For me, it made my pain worse, but it's worth a try to see if it helps you. I even use the floor sometimes. What I've found is you just have to kind of play around and see what works best for you with pillows and so forth. I've found if I prop my head way up on like 2-3 pillows my upper back stops spasming a bit, so I'm able to get some sleep. It's a lot of just trial and error and seeing what works for you. Good luck because I know how frustrating this is :)
