I have recieved the results to my recent spine MRI scan. I have discussed the report but could someone please explain this to me in simple terms.

My current job involves lots of lifting twisting bending, I was advised to change my career.

L4/5 disc dehydration with posterior disc bulge but no neural compression. Mild left L4 foraminal stenosis.

L5/S1. Transitional L5 vertebral body that articulates with the sacrum, with pseudo-athroses bilaterally. Associated hypoplastic intervertebral disc but no evidence of disc degeneration.

Normal distal conus. Posterior L3 vertebral body haemangioma noted.

Lumbar disc degeneration at L4/5 with transitional L5 vertebral body articulating with the sacral ala, with pseudo-athroses bilaterally. No right sided nerve root compression detected to account for symptons.

Thank you
