Hey everyone,

I was wondering if someone could help me out so I don't have to waste another co-pay if nothing is serious.

For about 4 or 5 days straight last week, I was experiencing some back pain. There was a sharp pain around my right shoulder blade that hurt whenever I moved a certain way or turned my neck to the right. The pain would sometimes shoot up my neck or down my right arm. I figured it was a pulled muscle. IT didn't get better so on Friday night, I went to the ER. By this time my right arm had gone numb once and I was experiencing pressure between my shoulder blades in my upper back.

The doctor said my muscles were inflammed and noted that I had a low grade fever. He told me to come back in 2 days if I was not better or if I developed a cough. He prescribed me tylenol with coedine.

Now it's Sunday evening. The sharp pain has gone away but the pressure/tightness still remains between my shoulder blades. Last night, I began experiencing some chest pain. It was more of a tightness and pressure that was in the middle of my chest, between my breasts and along the top of my rib cage. When I woke up, the pain was gone.

Today I am still experiencing the pressure between my shoulder blades and the tightness in the center of my chest. The tylenol does nothing and the heat patch I have doesn't seem to help either.

Could anyone be of any help to tell me what's wrong?

I don't have trouble breathing nor does it hurt when I breathe. I'm a generally healthy 26 year old female.

What could be wrong????
