Hello everyone, have been lurking here for a couple weeks. Been reading and learning alot.
Thank you to those of you who actively participate here and typing up your experiences whatever they may be.

About 12 years ago, picked heavy box up off ground, did not bend my knees.
"Pop" from lower back.
Young and dumb, kept going.

Also,
sat on a chair at work station, feet stayed planted pretty much while upper body twisted to the left repetitively for a couple hours a day(for about 3 years).

Always had mild soreness pain when I did too much, but was "ok".

Fast forward to October of '06. Suddenly I had really bad pain to where I could not stand up straight, or walk.

Had an MRI.
It was a mobile unit(in big semi truck trailer) that Radiology of Beverly Hills sends up to Santa Barabra every other week.
I have no insurance and it was four Ben Franklins.
I did not know to ask for contrast.

Impression from the radiologist:

T12-L1: disc space is maintained. There is 2-3mm posterior disc
bulge flattening the dural sac. Facet joints are unremarkable.
There is no neural foraminal stenosis.

L3-L4: There is disc desiccation. There is 5mm posterior disc protrusion
flattening the dural sac and encroaching on both L4 nerve roots.
Facet joints unremarkable. There is no neural foraminal stenosis.

L4-L5: There is disc desiccation. There is 5mm posterior disc protrusion
flattening the dural sac and encroaching the right L5 nerve root.
There is moderate bilateral facet arthropathy. There is no
neural foraminal stenosis.

L5-S1: Mild disc space narrowing with disc dessication. There is 5mm
posterior disc bulge eccentric to the left encroaching on the
left S1 nerve root. There is mild right and moderate left facet
arthropathy. There is no neural foraminal stenosis.

All others good.

Had sciatica pain in right leg: burning, numbness, pins/needles behind knee, outer edge of calf and under the toes.

Tried 14 sessions of VAX-D in Santa Barbara. Helped alot with the sciatica, it's mostly gone.
Still cannot stand up straight or walk without being in massive pain.
Sitting and laying down helps alot.
Mornings are good, but by evening I am cursing and hunched over.

Currently researching my options.

For now, I would like to know how can I change the display options on the threads?
All the threads are in reverse order. I like to read them in chronological order.
The menu only gives me one linear mode choice and at the bottom I don't see how to change it.
Thanx
-Paul
