| Has anyone had a spinal cord stimulator implanted? I had one implanted in 12 - 06 and now I have a wire or lead that has migrated thru the skin near the scar area. Can't see surgeon until Wed the 11th. Fear is surgery #6 to fix this. Anyone of ever hear of that? [QUOTE=sharon52;3086688]Has anyone had a spinal cord stimulator implanted? Exactly where was the lead placed and where to you see it? In the epidural space of your spinal cord, or was it placed peripherally in the Sub-Q tissue? It is common for the generator (battery) to migrate towards the surface of the skin, but lead migrations like the one you are describing are uncommon. |
