I am sorry to hear of your problems. I has a similar experience. My pain started in my abdominal area anf stayed there for several months. it felt to me like I had the wind knocked out of me and was unable to recover. Side stitches too. For several months my dr. thought it was a cyst on one of my ovaries - which they did find to be true in 3 different CT scans and ultra sounds. So we proceeded to have the cyst removed, when the Dr. got in there she could not find the cyst - and thought it had ruptured before surgery.

Then I experienced lower back pain and numbness in my rt foot and leg. They did an MRI and found I had a herniated disk L4 & L5, and started my on Epidural Steriod Injection shots the following week.

Even though symptoms between my abdominal pain (lasting for several months) and back pain and foot numbness (which came to light the day before my cystectomy) were far apart, once I started doing soome research I found several other people who had abdominal pain FIRST before any back pain or numbness issues.

I wonder if it could be some referred pain moving to the front of our bodies and not radiating from the actual part of the body that is stressed.

it sounds like you have been around the block with surgeries and pain. I would think your primary would want to see you and talk over some options. or maybe go right to the specialst in back pain - they may see more cases similar to yours and be able to get you moving in the right direction for relief.

I wish you the best.
