Back Problems Board Index

Well my story continues. My company arranged an MRI and a visit to back doctor and a neurologist. I saw the back specialist and neurologist before my MRI appointment. Both of them were, after thier physical exam, of the opinion that I had a herniated disc. However the MRI report indicates that I have absolutely nothing wrong in my lower back. My pain, numbness and spasms are the same as before. It subsides while laying down and increases exponentially over a short time when I sit, stand or walk. I'm really disappointed with the results of the MRI, I'm sure that work and the insurance company will be too. I was told of the results by my family doctor and I don't see the back specialist again, to go over the results, until June 4th. I expected the MRI to put a finger on the problem so that I could get fixed and get my life back to normal. I really don't know what to do next. Can any of you give me any suggestions, comments or questions to ask. HELP!!!!
