I am so sorry to see someone so young needing this kind of information. But since you are here, I will try to help what little I can.

With a pars defect, also called spondylosis, you should not be participating in any kind of sports. Often, this condition will ease with rest and perhaps some anti-inflammatories. So, your coach is right in not allowing you to play, sad as that may be. It's hard when you are so young to have to realize that you must be careful in your activities; actually, it's difficult even when you are older.

You also have a small bulge in the disc right above the lowest one which is the L5-Sl which also shows a minimal bulge. It won't take a lot to go from that to something more serious, so at this point, taking a break from all sports is needed to give things time to heal. Hopefully, that will do the trick. I'm glad you are going to see a specialist and hope that he can give you some good news.

Please come back and let us know how you are doing.
