Thanks so much for your replies!

Tetonteri66-- I actually know exactly what you're referring to with the 'golfer's bend'. I actually utilized this all the time pre-surgery as it was the most effective way for me to bend with the least amount of pain. I'm still limiting bend at all unless it's an absolute necessity. As for the ergonomic chair, my office manager has already put the order for one in. I'm very lucky with having fantastic employers. Just waiting for it to arrive. =)

Teacupforme-- I'm sorry to hear that you have had pain return. I've been making a strong effort to move around as often as possible. However, your post only reinforced the need to do so.

As a side question, I did notice last night that I have developed a fairly large lump on my lower back near the surgical site. This was not there a couple of days ago when I had my post-op appointment and the dressing/strips were removed. I noticed upon waking up that the lump had decreased in size, however it's still there.

Should I be concerned over this? I've read online this can be normal. But I'm still thinking I should give the doc a call in the morning.

Thanks again!
