My doctor has diagnosed it as costochondritis which is also tsetze's syndrome, and now that I have all this back pain, as well, all of them seem to agree that they are all related: i.e., arthritis, spondylosis, ddd. ... her pain could be nerves also, but it could be arthritis, if you have had surgeries of any kind, it could be scar tissue. But applying pressure sounds to me like arthritis or nerve problems. Maybe someone else will come on here and give you some insight that maybe I haven't thought of. Does IB Profen help you at all? ... (27 replies)

... my daughter has the same back pain but not the popping or fractures you discribe. It would be wise of your mother to get you to an Orthopedic guy ASAP. I'm sure an MRI of the spine and other areas, also some bloodwork and your family history. You would probally need to be referred from you pediatrician.
