... Hi Dolphin, I have the same problems. If you decide on surgery make sure you only let them work on the disk that is giving you the pain. Have a Discogram. This will pinpoint the area giving you the problem. Do not let them work on areas they think "may" be giving you pain. I let the Drs. work on 3 levels because I could not tell exactly where the pain was coming from.... (8 replies)

I never had much of a problem with numbness or tingling, that is why I didn't need those tests to be performed.
