... I am a 44 yr. old female with degenerative disc disease. I found my way to a pain management clinic about 2 years ago. Before that I was taking handfuls of vicodin, with hardly any relief. My main problem is lower back (L2-5). I've tried botox, no relief and facets injections (MIRACLE)except you can only have a limited amount of the steroids in the injections!! I tried... (2 replies)

I am glad this helped you. I did read that the injection is also a way to narrow the source of the pain down, in other words, if it works, it's the facets, if it doesn't, the pain is coming...
