... Hi sharonemma, I had a lumbar [email protected] L4-5,L5-S1 when i was 26.At this time, laser surgery was the latest thing & i had a fanous NS. I would have done well & did but, no mri's back then! My injury, when he did surgery was beyond what old CT could show & was really extensive. Original plan, have a 1"-2" pink "flairpen" incision. 6 week recovery with PT to assist healing... (5 replies)

Fusion post op

... Hi Mike - I'm about 4-1/2 months post-op from fusion at L4-5 and L5-S1, and still have pain 24/7. Last time I saw NS, he said fusion is solid, so I may have already obtained all the pain relief that I will have from this surgery - not enough. Hope you continue to improve. God bless your day!
